The 2026 Motor Press Guild Board of Directors election results were announced on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the first monthly MPG Board meeting of the year. Three board members were elected by popular vote: Antonio Alvenida, Patrick Anderson, and Russell Datz.  All three are serving their first terms on the Board.

Once the 2026 MPG Board of Directors was seated, their first action was to elect new officers for the year, as required by the MPG Bylaws. The board elected the following slate of candidates to lead the organization in 2026: President David. Boldt, Vice-President Patrick Anderson, and Secretary / Treasurer Jim Dvorak. Continuing their individual terms on the Board of Directors for 2026 are James Bell, Jim Dvorak, Aaron Gold, KJ Jones, Ashly Knapp.  Board members serve three-year terms and meet on at least a monthly basis to coordinate MPG activities.
