Some members have experienced issues when trying to renew their membership. We apologize for any frustrations you’ve experienced during this process. We are using a new platform this year, so there are bound to be a few growing pains as we all go through it the first time. The following is intended to help give you further instructions if you are experiencing difficulties.
How to renew your membership:
STEP ONE: Log in at www.motorpressguild.org
STEP TWO: Once logged in, click directly on “MY ACCOUNT” from the main menu.
It’s a great time to check your profile information and make sure everything listed is correct. If you have no changes to make, move on from this page by clicking “MY ACCOUNT” from the main menu.
STEP THREE: You will land on the “My Memberships” page. Select the “renew” link, listed directly under your membership classification.
STEP FOUR: You will land on the Membership Checkout page. Verify that all information is correct, and scroll down to the payment button.
NOTE: You do NOT have to pay via PayPal. Once you click the check out button, you will have the option to pay with a Debit Card or Credit Card instead.
STEP FIVE: Select your preferred form of payment.
We now accept American Express and Discover in addition to Visa & Mastercard.
Still having trouble?
Help! I don’t know my username.
By default, your username is the same email address we have on file. Try this username first. If that doesn’t work, please email Carrie Kim.
Help! My password doesn’t work.
If you did not create a new password for yourself when the new site launched this summer, you’ll need to create one before you can log in. Your old password you used on the old website will not work if you haven’t yet done this.
Help! I don’t know my password.
You can use this link to reset your password: https://www.motorpressguild.org/my-account/recover-password/
Help! I requested to reset my password, but the email hasn’t arrived!
If you used the link to reset your password, please be patient. In some instances, a wait time of 1-hour has been reported before receiving your reset email during high traffic times (We know, this is a problem!). If you do not receive your password reset email after one hour, please email Carrie Kim.
Can I mail a check to you for my renewal?
We’re sorry, but all renewals must be handled online. Please do NOT send a check!
