March 11, 2015 — MPG held the 2nd installment of the “Media in the News” series at the Long Beach Marriott last month, this time featuring the well-known former Hyundai Motor America CEO and current President of TrueCar, Inc.: John Krafcik. Krafcik shared candid insights on TrueCar’s business model and statistics on both the automotive consumer market and TrueCar’s rapidly increasing presence in the consumer landscape. Interviewed by Eric Noble, MPG member and President of the automotive consulting firm, The CarLab, the discussion was an engaging and intimate one.
A first for MPG, this time MPG members Mark Perleberg and DiAnne Spain of TakeTwoTV were on-site to provide a live streaming webcast of the exclusive interview. As one of the goals of the “Media in the News” series was to break insider industry-specific content to the web, MPG was thrilled to make our live streaming goal a reality at this event.
