12:30 p.m. Luncheon Program at Richter’s
Casual lunch with presentation by Dave Allen, President of Auto Club Speedway in Richter’s – the Speedway’s marquee club with a pit road setting offering incredible views overlooking the start finish line. It’s someplace that no doubt, the late Les Richter would be delighted to spend time in.
1:30 p.m. Hot Laps on the Track
Buckle up and hold on as you take a ride in an official NASCAR Toyota Camry Pace Car on one of the fastest tracks on the NASCAR circuit.
2:00 p.m. Facility Tour
Hop on a tram for an overview tour of the 568-acre facility that encompasses a two-mile D-shaped oval race track, Fan Zone, ¼ mile dragstrip and tenants including CalSpeed Karting and Steel City R/C Speedway.
3:00 p.m. Lefty’s Track Day* Optional for Media / $15 donation – cash only
Join us for the speedway’s annual Lefty’s Track Day where the public is invited to drive their personal automobile on the oval. Paced by the Speedway’s Official Toyota Camry Pace Car, participants who make a $15.00 donation can drive their vehicle on the track. All proceeds from track laps and pace car rides benefit the Lefty’s Reading Challenge, a program that encourages reading excellence from Southern California elementary school children and provides grants to local school libraries.
