As you are aware, the situation in relation to the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak continues to evolve and spread globally, including here in Southern California. We are reaching out to our members as COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) is impacting our communities more and more each day.
In light of advisories from public health officials, the MPG Board of Directors has decided to follow the lead of many of our OEM members and postpone any non-essential gatherings and events through the end of March. Our top priority is the safety of our members, and we think it’s best not to take even the slightest of chances.
We recognize that the next few weeks will be a challenging time for many of our members, particularly freelancers. We encourage our Public Relations, Journalist and Analyst members to reach out to each other and work together to tell the stories that need to be told.
During this time, your MPG Board of Directors is actively working to develop other opportunities for our members. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will keep you updated.
