Gardner Automotive Communications has an immediate need for a talented freelance copywriter to work with our motorsports marketing team. Assignment will last approximately 6 weeks, possibly with extensions.
The successful candidate will have experience writing for a variety of mediums, both short- and long-form. You will work closely with a small and nimble team to create work for high-profile clients.
Job duties:
- Concept and write copy for all mediums, online and offline, including social, web and collateral copy, scripts, press releases and more
- Ideate social and PR content
- Partner with video producers on concepts and scripts
- Partner with account and project managers to ensure timely delivery of all materials
- Contribute effectively and proactively as part of a small but nimble team
Qualifications:
- Automotive knowledge
- Ability to work effectively on multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and be flexible to turn around assignments on short notice
- Ability to work extended hours as needed
- Superior communication skills
- Agency experience desired
