The Porsche Club of America is currently seeking candidates for Editor-in-Chief of Porsche Panorama magazine.
PCA’s National Office is located in Columbia, MD. Out-of-area candidates who prefer to work from a home office will also be considered.

DETAILS
Position: Editor-in-Chief, Porsche Panorama
Reports to: PCA Executive Director
Position Summary: Oversee, manage, and produce PCA’s national magazine on a monthly basis
Responsibilities / Essential Duties:
· Oversee magazine design and editorial direction of Panorama
· Manage to an annual budget jointly established with the PCA Executive Council
· Manage editorial/proofing process in a timely manner so specific printing deadlines are met
· Effectively manage the Panorama team
· Collaborate with the PCA media team to bridge printed and video content
· Solicit and evaluate all freelance contributions
· Maintain an appropriate inventory of future stories within budget
· Provide input for outside media contractors/vendors bids
· Regular interface with PCA members to ensure Club life is well integrated into the magazine
· Maintain a working relationship with Porsche AG and Porsche Cars North America
· Serve as relationship backup with advertisers
· Responsible for the administration/planning of vehicle and product testing
· Prepare quarterly reports to the PCA Executive Council and Board of Directors
The ideal candidate will be:
· Experienced in magazine editing and production management
· Creative and have a clear editorial vision
· Able to understand and manage the business side of the magazine
· Knowledgeable about PCA, Porsche and the automotive industry
· Knowledgeable in areas of automotive technology/engineering/design/history
· Proficient with Apple operating system
· Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Creative Suite
· Proficient in writing and photography
· Experienced in media liability and libel avoidance
· Experienced in high-performance driving
· Able to visit the PCA National Office on a regular basis
· Able to travel to national and international events
