Vol. 20 No. 9, September 2010 The August 10, 2010 luncheon brought Porsche to our door, displaying the Cayenne Hybrid and the Porsche racecar. David Burkhalter and Patrick Long made short presentations on "What Is Intelligent Performance?" and stood around long afterward answering questions and showing off the vehicles.

Vol. 20 No. 8, August 2010 MPG followed the suggestion of its members from a survey conducted earlier this year and began rotating locations as of the July meeting. We were hosted by the Automobile Club of Southern California at their Costa Mesa offices. AARWBA joined in hosting a motorsports panel that covered a broad spectrum (from left): moderator Greg Gill, Haymarket; Bob Patison, Lucas Oil; Gary Darcy, NHRA; Bob De Fazio, Toyota Speedway at Irwindale; Ryan Flaherty, NASA; Chris Norris, Swift Engineering; John McQueen, Automobile Club of Southern California; and Steve Sanders, MAZDASPEED Motorsports. |
